Koch Fertilizer, LLC is seeking an Environmental Coordinator to join the Terminals and Value Added Products Compliance Team located in Wichita, KS. The successful candidate will support multiple operations teams across the business.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
This role will be responsible for working with facilities to ensure environmental compliance is met with the highest level of integrity and collaboration. This position will be responsible for regulatory reporting requirements, permitting, training and auditing as related to areas such as air, waste, water, and Department of Agriculture. As an Environmental SME, this position will be the primary point of contact and partnership with terminals.The role will be responsible for building strong working relationships with our customers and key stakeholders by building proactive efficiency models, strong customer communications paths and vigorous pursuit of continuous improvement and value creation.
What You Will Need:
Self-starter, demonstrates personal initiative and ownership of role responsibilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong team player
2+ years of experience in Environmental Compliance or Engineering position
Bachelor's degree in an Environmental Science or related engineering or science field (i.e. Chemistry, Geology, Biology)
