University of Rochester¿s Earth and Environmental Sciences Department invites applicants for a one-year full-time Assistant Professor (Research) position in the general fields of environmental sciences and geology. Preference is for this appointment to start January 1st, 2012, but a later start is an option. We seek applicants who have at least 2 to 3 years of post-Ph.D. research experiences with a research emphasis in bridging the disciplines of environmental geology, environmental medicine, and public health. The successful applicant will have strong analytical geochemistry skills and will be expected to establish and maintain an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry laboratory.
