OPEN CALL FOR LECTURERS DEPARTMENT OF EARTH SCIENCES
Applications are invited for multiple possible Lecturer positions beginning Fall Quarter 2016. Applicants must have demonstrated experience or show strong promise in teaching. Applicants with expertise in GIS and/or Natural Hazards and Disasters are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a M.S. degree or higher in Geological Sciences or a related field.
The courses are as follows:
Fall 2016: Introduction to Geographical Information Science (Lecture, 3 hours; laboratory, 3 hours)
Spring 2017: Natural Hazards and Disasters (on-line course) (Lecture, 3 hours; discussion, 1 hour)

Once selected for a position, proof of other teaching position percentages within the same quarter at other public higher educational institutions and approval from the primary employer will be required.
This is an open call for Lecturers for the 2016-2017 Academic Year and the posting will remain open until the position has been confirmed. Evaluations of applications will begin September 16, 2016.
