The Radiation Oncology division of Arizona Oncology is seeking a full time, highly motivated medical physicist to join a team of 4 physicists and 6 dosimetrists covering five community cancer centers in Southern Arizona. The practice has 5 Varian linear accelerators with IGRT, including a Novalis Tx with a busy SRS/SBRT program. Treatment planning includes Iplan for SRS, Eclipse for EBRT. The department has electronic charting with Elekta/Mosaiq R&V system, soon to be switching over to ARIA. The practice has three CT simulators and two Elekta/Nucletron HDR afterloaders with Oncentra TPS for a variety of procedures.
The practice has 9 Radiation Oncologists and is the premier Radiation Practice in Southern Arizona. The practice is continuing to grow and expand into new areas. The ideal candidate is board certified or board eligible, holds a Master’s degree in medical physics and graduated from an accredited residency program. Experience with SRS is desirable.
