This position is responsible for conducting high-quality R&D to ensure development of innovative efficient and environmentally acceptable and cost effective technical solutions for exploitation of complicated reservoirs in order to sustain production capacity and replace reserves (70% and higher recovery factor). The position will develop EOR capabilities at U of H Energy Industry Partnership, development of conventional and unconventional resources, in collaboration with other R&D labs within U of H. Plan, direct and actively participate managing complex geoscience project independently. Develop reservoir models using seismic technology, geostatistical analysis, and geocellular modeling.
Supervision: Receives minimal supervision conferring with higher levels only in usual situations.
MS Degree in Geophysics with minimum 1 year relevant experience in seismic technology, geocellular modeling, geostatitistical analysis.
Research experience in reservoir geology and geophysics
Work experience in geophysical and/or geological reservoir characterization.
