Leading civil and environmental engineering consulting firm in MetroWest Boston is currently seeking an Hazardous Materials Project Manager.
Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of environmental industry experience providing building-related consulting services with strong technical writing and communication skills. The responsibilities include conducting and overseeing asbestos, lead and hazardous materials surveys, site investigation, abatement, and air and waste sampling. The ideal candidate will possess current license and certification as an Asbestos Inspector & Designer; and, strong project management skills. BS in engineering or science preferred. Ability to work independently to investigate and develop mitigation strategies is critical.

Degree in environmental engineering, geology, environmental science or closely related science/engineering technology.
Strong skills in inspection & design for asbestos and other hazardous building materials
Certified Asbestos Inspector & Designer
OSHA 40 hour training
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
5+ years of related experience
Team-player attitude with a strong ability to engage in positive and mutually successful interpersonal relationships with staff and clients
Must be willing to travel periodically within southern New England to meet project needs
