The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in the area of Environmental Science, Environmental Chemistry, or related field. Specialties include but are not limited to Atmospheric, Soil Sciences, Water Resources, Freshwater Science, Oceanography, Hydrology, or Environmental Geology. The successful candidate is expected to develop an externally funded research program. Teaching will be at the undergraduate and graduate (MS/PhD) levels in environmental science, environmental chemistry, and/or related areas. Qualified applicants will have a Ph.D. Postdoctoral or equivalent experience is desired. The successful candidate will engage undergraduate and graduate students in their research program. Candidates must demonstrate experience with or a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Ph.D in Environmental Science, Environmental Chemistry, Atmospheric Science, Hydrology, Geology or closely related area.
