Responsible for reviewing and evaluating Public Water Systems (PWS).
Review and evaluate all Ground Water Rule, Total Coliform Rule, Chemical Rule, Surface Water Rule and Public Notice (PN) data as covered in 30 TAC Rules stored in the Safe Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS) and the Consolidated Compliance and Enforcement Data System (CCEDS) database for compliance and enforcement processes. Review plans, maps, geological data from drill logs, and complete assessments on other aspects of well data. Conduct record and database reviews and update all compliance related data for referral through the enforcement process. Provide technical assistance to city and county officials; water system owners, operators, engineers, and lawyers, agency staff, other governmental entities and the general public in relation to the work performed. Provides technical assistance to city and county officials, water system owners, operators, engineers, and lawyers, agency staff, other governmental entities, and any other individuals seeking registration of a public water supply or seeking to modify data related to a public water supply registration. Follows all applicable institutional standard operating procedures. Ensures that business procedures maintain compliance with all institutional rules or policies. Attends training as appropriate to supplement familiarity with programmatic requirements as directed by Project Manager. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree. One (1) year of experience in data analysis, environmental quality management, public utilities, business administration, or related field or the equivalent experience.
