Location: Bloomington Department: IU Bloomington Earth and Atmospheric Sciences Position Announcement: The Indiana University Department of Earth & Atmospheric Sciences is seeking a non-tenure track lecturer to begin August 2021. We see a versatile lecturer who can teach broadly in the earth sciences at introductory level and advanced courses in one or more of the following areas: earth materials (mineralogy or petrology), economic geology, geophysics, structural geology, hydrogeology, environmental geology, or field geology. The standard teaching load is currently five courses per year. Basic Qualifications: This is a regular, full-time faculty position. Rank and salary are dependent on qualifications and record. Strong candidates are expected to have an excellent teaching record; experience in teaching large classes is a plus. MS in an earth sciences field is required, PhD preferred.
