The Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Memphis invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level with expertise in fluvial geomorphology to begin in Fall 2022. Applicants should demonstrate expertise in at least two of the following research areas: geomorphology, fluvial processes, surface water hydrology, the role of rivers in pre-historic settlement patterns, or environmental hazards associated with large river systems.
