The Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences may have positions available (contingent upon funding) for a Postdoctoral Associate to work with faculty members and their research groups.  Faculty research specialties within the department include but are not limited to geochemistry, paleomagnetism, Quaternary sciences, sedimentology, petrology, hydrogeology, geomicrobiology, structural geology, geophysics, rock physics and rheology. Post-doctoral associates work with faculty members and their research groups to conduct research that will provide further development of career skills or allows them opportunities to learn new research techniques.  Post-doctoral associates may supervise research assistants and laboratory personnel.  The post-doctoral position is limited to a period
