Laboratory safety and hazardous waste management in research and teaching laboratories
Support department activities, student/faculty research, and field trips (including van driving)
Maintain department lab and field equipment
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are needed in order to successfully work with numerous undergraduate research assistants and research participants.
A demonstrated, technologically savvy, highly organized approach and the ability to work independently are also essential.
Must be capable of working collegially with a diverse group of faculty, staff and students within a university context.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree is required. Preferred areas of study: Geology, Physical Sciences or related field, or 5+ years of related experience is required.

Interviews are expected to begin after July 1st.
This is a part-time benefited position. The hourly rate with a range of $22-$27 is commensurate with education and experience.
