We invite applications for a pool of part-time lecturers to teach undergraduate courses in geology. Those interested in remaining in the pool beyond that time must reapply. We are seeking outstanding lecturers who can teach small to large lecture courses in undergraduate general education (lower and upper division). Positions start at the beginning of a semester and appointments may be renewed based on department need, funding, and performance.
M.S. in Geology/Earth Science or equivalent is strongly recommended, although a B.S. in Geology/Earth Science with teaching experience (optimally 2+ years) would also be considered for certain lower division general education courses and labs.
