Sidwell Friends School, a co-educational Quaker day school with campuses in Bethesda, MD, and Washington, DC, seeks a full-time 7th-8th Grade Science Teacher who genuinely appreciates the Quaker philosophy that underlies the school for SY 25-26. Teaching positions at Sidwell Friends School are campus-based and in-person. This position is based on the Washington, D.C. campus and begins in late August 2026. Reporting to the Middle School Principal, this position will teach two integrated science courses. The two courses work in tandem to tell the story of life on our planet, Earth’s place in the Universe, and the conditions that allow life to flourish on Earth. The 7th grade course is largely focused on the biosphere, while the 8th grade course is more heavily geared to Earth and S
