The Department of Earth and Environmental Geosciences at Colgate University invites applications for a visiting Assistant Professor position in the field of structural geology, beginning in the spring of 2026.  Highly competitive candidates with a completed Ph.D. may be considered for an earlier appointment, starting in fall of 2025. The initial term of the appointment will be through the spring of 2027, contingent on satisfactory teaching in the 2025-2026 academic year. There is a possibility of renewal beyond the spring of 2027, contingent on department needs and an evaluation of teaching effectiveness in the first year.
