Visiting Assistant Professor of Geology
The Department of Geology at St. Lawrence University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning August 2026. We seek a broadly trained hard-rock geologist with expertise in mineralogy, petrology, or structural geology. Teaching responsibilities will include core laboratory courses for majors (such as earth materials and structural geology), an introductory geology course with laboratory for non-majors (Environmental Geology), and elective courses in the candidate’s specialty. The salary range is $61,000 to $63,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined by education, experience, and other factors protected by law.
