Additional responsibilities may include serving as a liaison with the College of Education to promote the recruitment of STEM students, as well as developing a Science Methods course for students seeking certification in science education. As part of the Foundations of Science team, the lecturer will also assist in the collection and analysis of assessment data pertaining to the course.
Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:
The successful candidate will teach sections of an integrated science course called Foundations of Science which focuses on critical thinking, the nature of science, and key concepts and theories from biology, geology, physics, and astronomy.
