INTRODUCTION The Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Connecticut (UConn) seeks to hire a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, with a research focus in Environmental or Engineering Geophysics/Geology. We are interested in a candidate who is working at the forefront of addressing some of the biggest challenges facing society, including securing sustainable water supplies, food and energy production, environmental protection, natural resources, natural geologic hazards, and/or investigating how earth and environmental processes and human activities interact.
