The Kimbell School of Geosciences invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track endowed chair faculty position to begin August, 2025. Midwestern State University is a comprehensive public university serving roughly 6000 students located on the rolling plains of Texas. The Kimbell School of Geosciences is a dynamic program with strong ties to the region’s petroleum exploration, water resource, and environmental service communities. We seek candidates that will complement our current expertise in remote sensing and computational geoscience, paleontology and sedimentology, igneous petrology, and multi-scale geophysics.
